2025 DRIVE EXAMINATION

The 2025 DRIVE examination will be taking place in-person!

Written Exam:

The written exam will be taking place at your home institution. Please be sure to check with your PD or PA for more information.
The review of the written exam will take place on Friday, January 17th, 2025 at 7pm, at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel- in Toronto International Airport. This is the evening prior to the oral exam.
Please be sure to arrange your travels to Toronto so that you have sufficient time to attend the written exam review.

Oral Exam:

The DRIVE oral exam component will be in-person, at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel- in Toronto International Airport.
The oral exam will take place on Saturday, January 18th, 2025. There will be both morning (8am-noon) and afternoon (noon-5pm) timeslots for the exam. You will be scheduled into one of the streams once you have registered and receive confirmation. Please make sure to register on the registration page of the website, and book your hotel stay.
Effort will be made to place those with longer travel times at an earlier timeslot, however this cannot be guaranteed.
The oral exam consists of 6 examination stations that are OSCE (oral structured clinical examination) style, and 1 rest station.
You will be required to visit each examination room in sequence. Each station will last approximately 20 minutes.
